HIGH STREET TOTS
This ministry operates on a Sunday morning during the service and is located in our halls through the door at the front of the church. Parents take their children out after the children’s talk and song – roughly 20 minutes into the service. It is a safe space for babies and toddlers to play and learn. There are always multiple leaders in place, and parents are able to either stay with their children, or else leave them in crèche and return to join the main service. At the end of the service, the kids filter back in during the final hymn.
HIGH STREET KIDS
Our Sunday School exists so that we can teach the children in our church family important truths about how much God loves them and how Jesus died on the cross for their sin. We want to care for, nurture and encourage the faith of every child who comes through our doors. Each Sunday morning, High Street Kids meets in our halls, and the kids head out after the children’s talk and song – roughly 20 minutes into our service. There are always multiple leaders on each week and the children will spend time learning truths about God from the bible – they’ll hear talks, sing songs, dance, play games, do crafts and have lots of fun. They then return into church during the final hymn to rejoin their parents.
HIGH STREET YOUTH
This is our ministry for children in P7 upwards. It runs fortnightly on Friday evenings from 7.30pm – 9pm, and takes place in the upper room in our halls. Each session involves games, bible talk, group discussion, snacks, and lots of fun. We have a dedicated team of leaders/helpers who are committed to getting alongside the young people, getting to know them, encouraging their faith, building their character and confidence, and always making sure everyone feels included.
HOLIDAY CLUBS
Throughout the year we run a number of holiday bible clubs during various school holidays so that we can teach children about different aspects of Christian faith. Our main holiday bible club takes place in August each year, and we also run an Easter version as well. Then at Halloween we do a one day event for all the family called the “Light Party” which always proves to be very popular, as we share how Jesus is the light of the world.
