Prayer: Keep it honest, keep it simple, and keep it up. (Nicky Gumble)

Jesus constantly communicated with his heavenly Father by prayer and has both shown and opened up the way for us to do this too. God is a great communicator and teacher and longs to hear from his children. As our relationship with God deepens and knowledge of him increases, our prayers become more aligned to our Father’s will. Prayer changes things, including us. Just as we can’t do anything without Christ, we can’t do anything of eternal significance without prayer.

Prayer is therefore a vital part of our congregational life. As well as prayer on Sunday mornings during church services and prayer within our small groups, we also offer the following:

Congregational Gathering for Prayer

Wednesday evenings (fortnightly) at 7.30pm in the welcome area.

Prayer Ministry

Each Sunday morning, following our service, two members of our team will pray with those seeking prayer for themselves or for someone else. We would be delighted to pray for you or with you for something that is weighing you down at present.
